PCC Award

Windsor Street Angels were thrilled to receive a cheque for £5,000 from the Police Property Act Fund

The Police Property Act Fund is a joint fund managed by the PCC and the Chief Constable and is distributed to local community and voluntary groups. The Fund is created from money recovered by the police and the proceeds from the sale of items that cannot be returned to identified owners, which includes seizures from criminals and is distributed twice a year.

Windsor Street Angels were thrilled to receive a cheque for £5,000 from the fund, presented by Chief Constable John Campbell. These funds will enable us to continue the wonderful work of the night time community safety hub which has helped over 500 people since it’s launch in October 2018. The hub requires ongoing financial support to cover rent and cleaning to ensure this community space remains multi functional for its other community users.
